A. The applicant must authorize the Anoka County Sheriff's Office by written consent to the investigation before the investigation is undertaken with such consent fully compliant with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13 regarding the collection, maintenance and use of the information. B. The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is authorized to access data maintained in the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehensions (BCA) Computerized Criminal History information system in accordance with BCA policy in conducting the criminal history background investigation required by this Section. C. Any data that is accessed and acquired shall be maintained at the Anoka County Sheriff's Office under the care and custody of the Anoka County Sherriff or their designee. D. A summary of the results of the Computerized Criminal History data may be released by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office to the City Council, the City Clerk or City Attorney.
