City Clerk Streich and Public Works Supervisor Glaze are recommending the purchase of a hot patch asphalt heater unit for the amount of $8,500. Council Member Breyen stated that he feels this is well worth the price if we are getting hot mix from Elk River and then having to drive it over to the Roger's Lake area, and it's not going to stay hot for very long. This would make it more efficient and keep it hot and in the long run will keep our roads in better shape.
