After discussion of qualifications, staffing needs, nepotism concerns, and reporting structure, the Council carried a motion to authorize offering the position to Genevieve Hirschboeck for no longer than six months, with amendments to re-evaluate in six months and to set the position at 30 hours per week and $35 per hour.
